Thank you thank you thank you.I picked up wicked at a garage sale having been told that while it was different to the musical which i loved, it was a brilliant read. It must be some definition of brilliance I am not familiar with. What a waste of paper. The best thing I can do with this book is use it as a fire starter over winter.I thought I was alone until I found your excellent article. How the play writers came up with something so amazing out of such a dogs breakfast of a novel is the real magic!
